Cookies and storage
Privami uses as little storage as it can. There are no cookies on this website, no advertising cookies anywhere and no third-party trackers. Our analytics is our own and kept on our servers. Job seekers can turn app analytics off, and the website records nothing if your browser asks not to be tracked.
| Where | Name | Type | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| This website | pv_visit, pv_landing, pv_utm | Session storage | A random visit number, the first page you opened and any campaign tags, for anonymous visit counts. Not set if your browser asks not to be tracked | Until the browser tab closes |
| Privami app, sign-up page | pv-attr | Session storage | Remembers which link brought you, sent once with your sign-up | Until the browser tab closes |
| Privami app | pv_session | Essential cookie (secure, http-only) | Keeps you signed in | 14 days, or until you sign out |
| Privami app, recruiters only | pv-last-role | Browser storage on the recruiter’s device | Remembers the last role typed, so it’s filled in next time | Until cleared |
| Privami app | Activity records | On our servers, not in your browser | Analytics: pages opened and actions taken | 13 months; turn off on the Cookies page in the app |
| Careers page box | wm_views | Session storage | Counts pages viewed in this visit, so the box appears on the second page | Until the browser tab closes |
| Careers page box | wm_dismissed | Session storage | Remembers that you closed the box, so it stays closed | Until the browser tab closes |
Fonts
This website loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your internet address to Google when a page loads. Google doesn't set cookies for this. The Privami app uses fonts from our own servers or your device.
Changing it
You can clear cookies and storage in your browser settings at any time. Clearing the app cookie signs you out.
