For job seekers
Be found. Not seen.
Tell Privami what you'd move for. Recruiters see your skills, never your name, and your employer can't see you at all. When something fits, you decide whether they get to meet you.
About 3 minutes to set up. No CV needed to start.
How it works
You're in control at every step.
Say what you'd move for
Your skills, the kind of role, where, and the pay that would tempt you. Add where you work now so we can hide you from them.
Get a request
A recruiter sees your card without your name and asks about a real role, with the place, pay and type of company spelled out.
Say yes, or don't
Yes shares your details with that recruiter for that role. No, or no answer, and they never learn who you are.
What recruiters see
Your experience, not your identity.
Title, years, skills, where you'd work and how ready you are. No name, no photo, no employer, no contact details, until you say yes.
Your privacy
Built so nobody at work finds out.
Hidden from your employer
Your employer, and every recruiter who works for them, can never see you. Hide other companies too if you like.
Discreet reminders
Turn on texts if you want them. They say "You have a new request on Privami", nothing more, and only between 9am and 8pm.
Leave whenever you want
Pause by switching off "Open to hear", or delete your account and everything in it in one tap.
The employer shield
Nobody gets found out by their own boss.
You tell us where you work so we can keep you away from them. We check it every time a recruiter searches, asks, or introduces someone.
- Every searchPeople who work at any of your clients are left out before results are drawn.
- Every requestAsking about someone checks again, against the role's employer and every client you list.
- Every yesWhen someone accepts, the check runs again before any contact detail moves.
- Every introductionAn introduction to an employer is refused if the person works there.
- Related namesShort forms, trading names and aliases count as the same company.
- Every countEmployers' weekly counts never include their own staff, and groups under 10 are left out.
Questions
Things people ask before signing up.
Is it free?
Yes, always, for job seekers.
Who can use it?
Anyone 18 or older working in New Zealand or Australia.
What happens to my details if I say yes?
That recruiter gets your name, email, phone, LinkedIn and CV if you added one, for that role only. They can introduce you to that role's employer and nobody else.
Can my employer use a different agency to find me?
No. Any agency that lists your employer as a client can't see you either.
Do you sell my data?
No. Employers see only rounded counts of groups of 10 or more people, and never their own staff.
Not looking? That's the point.
Set it up once, get on with your job, and hear about the right role when it comes.
