Collection notice
This short notice is shown when you sign up, and is linked from the Privami box on employers' careers pages, as IPP 3 (New Zealand) and APP 5 (Australia) require. Our privacy policy has the full detail.
- Who is collecting: [Privami Limited], [registered address]. Privacy Officer: privacy@privami.com. On an employer's careers page, Privami collects the information, not the employer and not the recruitment agency that set up the box.
- What and why: your email, to sign you in and tell you about requests; your work profile, to show you jobs and show recruiters a card without your name; where you work now, only to hide you from them; contact details and CV, to share with a recruiter only when you say yes; optional "About you" answers, only for anonymous totals; your activity, for analytics, which you can turn off; and which website button or campaign link brought you, so we know which marketing works.
- Required or optional: only your email is required. Without it we can't sign you in. Everything else is optional, and you can use the careers page box without giving an email.
- Who receives it: recruiters see your card without your name only if you turn on "Open to hear". Your name and contact details go to one recruiter, for one role, only when you say yes, and that recruiter can introduce you only to that role's employer. If you say no you can give a reason, which the recruiter sees without your name. After a yes, the recruiter may record what happened next, and you see it in the app. Your current employer and its recruiters never see you. Our service providers (hosting in Sydney, email, and texts if you turn them on) process it under contract.
- Overseas: if you turn texts on, your mobile number may be processed in the United States by our text provider.
- Law: no law requires you to give us this information.
- Your rights: you can see, download, correct and delete your information in the app, change any choice at any time, and complain to the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner or the OAIC.
